We will pick you up from your hotel to take you the train station of Poroy or Ollanta. This depends of the availability of the spaces of the train.
This trip is really unique, you will go up through the hills and you will have another view of the Sacred Valley: peaceful river, green fields and different kinds of trees will be the scenery of this trip. Near Aguas Calientes Town (now called Machu Picchu Pueblo), the weather changes a little. This little town has a tropical weather with spontaneous rains. Our guide will join all the people of the group and then you will take the bus to go up to the Magical city of Machu Picchu.
Machu Picchu is a fantastic example of the Inca architecture and the amazing sightseeing that it involves. The infinitive green mountains, the different kinds of vegetation, like the orchids and birds give that magical touch that you will feel when you arrive to this energetic historical site.
At the end of the tour you will have a delicious lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel.
Please be at the train station half an hour before the time of your train ticket. Pick up from the train station to take to your hotel.
Option B: Take your tour the first day and have an overnight at Aguas Calientes town or at the luxury Sanctuary Lodge hotel.
This option gives the opportunity to visit again this wonderful site and to climb the Huayna Picchu. From this point you will have a spectacular view of Machu Picchu.
This option also includes your buffet lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel or if you want to take at the Aguas Calientes Town, also we can arrange it for you.
